Will Braun, Psy.D.

Dr. Braun is a Clinical Psychologist, Psychoanalyst, and Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP) with extensive experience working with adults, children, and adolescents. 

He is the former Clinical Director of the Argent Program at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, CT, and is currently in private practice in New York City. Dr. Braun is on faculty in the Department of Psychiatry at Lenox Hill Hospital where he teaches a monthly psychological testing seminar on the inpatient unit. For 13 years, he was the Director of Psychological Testing at The New York Psychoanalytic Institute.

Dr. Braun holds a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from the University of Central Florida and remains an avid jazz pianist. He obtained a master’s degree in sport and performance psychology from Boston University and a doctorate in clinical psychology from George Washington University. He trained in adult, child, and adolescent psychoanalysis at The New York Psychoanalytic Institute and in modern group analysis at The Center for Group Studies.
